LearnLux has helped me see the importance of a budget and planning. I've learned many lessons from watching the videos. One of the most recent benefits was my husband's sister passed and he received a little bit of money from her estate. I convinced him that instead of going out, taking a vacation or anything like that, that it would be best to pay off vehicles and the high-interest credit cards, which we did.
Now budgeting is a lot easier because we don't have those big item expenses. We also went and got a new credit card from the credit union because it was a much lower interest rate than the one we had previously. One of the other lessons we learned was about your credit rating and how if you have credit cards, don't immediately close them after you pay them off because it can negatively impact your score.
So LearnLux has really been a big help with me on how to be more financially responsible and it's helping me look forward to retirement one day.
